Based on WLL/PSTN telecommunication platform, and as a integrated wireless information gateway of WLL/PSTN voice, short message (SMS), virtual private mobile network (VPMN), WLL/PSTN PBX (LPW201 series) colligated and expanded core functions of traditional PSTN PBX, SMS and WLL fixed wireless phone (FWP).
LPW201 WLL/PSTN PBX can choose WLL (Wireless Local Loop), PSTN or WLL/PSTN combined network as trunk access to provide fast telephone service or extension of existing PSTN PBX for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in countries or areas where PSTN trunk link is very difficult to get or with high cost, and built-in SMS platform can provide SMEs with effective, economical internal management and business actions through SMS. LPW201 support VPMN to set internal VPMN network to save internal calling fees when SMEs have lots of branches in country. LPW201 also support intelligent choice of trunk link for outgoing calling in order that SMEs can choose telecommunication operators with better service and lowest price to reduce internal cost. The 10BASE-T interface on LPW201 can connect LPW201 into intranet of SMEs for convenient management and supervision.
For WLL or PSTN operators, LPW201 can provide fast telephone service for SMEs without any limitation of network platform to keep user’s loyalty and raise business revenue; the special charging function of LPW201 can make operators to develop virtual operators quickly in some areas to extend market share and raise revenue in hard competition market.
