Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring is of very high density of over 1.15 g/cm3 and ranks among the hardest species of hardwood flooring due to a unique patented manufacturing process using bamboo fibers fused together with an environmentally safe adhesive under extreme pressure. Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring is twice as hard as Red Oak.

3. Density: 1.10-1.20g/cm3
4. Anti-bending intensity: 114.7 kg/cm3
5. Chemical Treatment: Natural borate solution to eliminate pests and mildew
6. Hardness: ASTM D 1037, Janka Ball: 2600 psi (avg.)
7. Dimensional Stability: ASTM D 1037-99: Less than 0.00144
8. Flammability: ASTM E 622: Maximum 270 in flaming mode; 330 in non-flaming mode
9. Smoke Density: ASTM E 622: Maximum 270 in flaming mode; 330 in non-flaming mode
10. Compressive Strength: ASTM D 3501: Minimum 7, 600 psi (52 MPa) parallel to grain; 2, 624 psi (18 MPa) perpendicular to grain
11. Tensile Strength: ASTM D 3500: Minimum 15, 300 psi (105 MPa) parallel to grain
12. Slip Resistance: ASTM D 2394: Static Friction Coefficient 0.562; Sliding Friction Coefficient 0.497
13. Abrasion Resistance: ASTM D 4060, CS-17 Taber abrasive wheels: Final wear-through: Minimum 12, 600 cycles
This strand woven bamboo flooring is perfect for commercial as well as high traffic residential installations. For example, deck and outdoor flooring.

Finish: Available in matt and gloss, with 6 coats of quality durable Klumpp coatings which provide the wear protection of aluminum oxide with two polyurethane scratch resistant topcoats. Coating is water-based and solvent-free and US European (E1) standard for off-gassing.
